Last week my equipment manager Mitch Hunt and I hosted 31 attendees at our grounds facility for a four hour seminar. This is the photo from our set up the day prior. My assistants Dan and Scott really knocked out the set up!
Mitch covered four different topics which included;
1. The partnership between the Superintendent and the Equipment Manager.
2. Employee training to reduce breakdowns, downtime and expenses.
3. Equipment and parts management with software.
4. Current equipment planning, long term plans and tournament preperation.

John from Spartan Distributors, now Reinders Inc. talked about the aquisition and gave a great presentation about golf turf equipment and the real ins and outs of the facts and data.
