Back 9 Fairway Aerification

This week on the golf course we will be aerifying the back nine fairways.  We started Sunday evening with this process and we plan on being done poking holes by noon on Tuesday.  We do need to wait for the plugs to dry out on the surface before we can start dragging them.  Once the plugs are broken up, the soil is returned to the turf and we blow off the remaining thatch pieces into the rough to be swept up.  Also this week on Thursday we will be aerifying some back nine ladies' tees.
