New tees, new views, stump grinding and a small project on seven.

One of the things I have noticed with the new tee placements is that the fairway terrain, slopes and grades really stand out more.  This is the new III tee on 11 and open for play!

The I tee on #3.

Really digging the new IV tee on 17, such a great view of the entire hole.  This tee will be sodded by the weekend and open.

Removing and saving the rough sod on the new IV tee on the right of #1.  We will be using this grass to sod over the stump areas once the stump grinder does his work and my staff cleans it all up and installs topsoil in the holes.

17 fairway, full of character and full of sand soon.

Another view and the fairway will be to the right of that white line and wrap around the bunkers quite nicely.

The phone call to the contractor is the easy part of stump removal.

Stump clean up is very labor intensive but we are doing this work in house with my staff to help save on the overall construction labor expense.

The old fairway bunkers on the right of 17 are gone and sodded.  Please drive around any new sod that you see on the golf course.

We are taking this time during the GCIP to improve all areas of the golf course.  We sodded the back of 7 green and collar where the grass has been so thin.  It's such a tight area, the greens mower, the roller, the collar mower, mowing banks, topdressing and even spraying greens is really tough on the back of 7 green.  Not much room to turn around in different areas back there.

Another view of the back of seven sod work.

The new I tee on 17.

Same tee now with the bank sodded.

Still lots of tee distance variety to be had on this new III tee on 3.
