Another one of my top 10 pictures for 2021. This two year old gem really matured this year as a true putting surface. That morning shade area on the north side has really been slow to fill in.
We installed over 50 hex plugs in the thin areas early in the season and have modified the watering times on those two north sprinkler heads down to about 15%.
In 2022 we may need to add a drain that connects to the brick paver surface drain right there. We had the final grade perfect I thought when we merged that area of construction but the raised sod collar height (from old 9 fairway) we installed, really slowed up the natural drainage in the this area.
