Weekly Update and a 300 Gallon Sprayer Video

Online Version Click Here

This week on the golf course we are topdressing the greens with sand, we do this every three weeks.  We are also spraying our greens and fairways with our routine fertilizer, fungicide and wetting agents.  All of the products that we spray on the golf course are extremely safe when sprayed at the label rates.  We spray our greens and fairways every two weeks and our tees monthly.  Normally we’ll spray a fairway tank on the back nine Sunday morning then finish the other 3 tanks Monday morning when the course is closed until 11:00.  We spray our greens on Monday or Tuesday morning every other week.

Also this week, we’ll start our invitational prep work by weeding the landscape beds around the clubhouse and on the course, finish edging the last 3 of our 37 bunkers and finish trimming the fairway sprinkler heads.

The weather this week looks perfect for golf; we have the ladies’ and men’s senior club championship coming up and be sure to sign up for the Big Hole twilight on Friday.  We set the course up Friday afternoon with our large 8 inch cups.

Here is a short video of our fairway sprayer in action.
