Tree Removal on 8

Last week we cut down the Chinese Elm on the right of 8.  A huge limb was damaged two years ago on the east side and the large west limb came down in our March storm.  It was also cracked in the middle where the two remaining limbs came together.

Here is the west limb that broke off of the Chinese Elm on 8 back in March.

Another picture of the Chinese Elm but note the Ash tree to the left.  This is the one that we were treating for Emerald Ash borer the last two years.  The borers won, we cut it down on Friday as well.

This pine was removed back in March.

Cross Country Update 12/18

With the loss of most of our beautiful snow, the cross country trails are closed until further notice.
