Winter Reel Grinding Operations


This is our reel grinder that sharpens our 15 green and tee reels as well as the 20 fairway units.  We have numerous computer programs that take just enough metal off of the reel to get it sharp.  The precision on all of these units is crazy extreme and the process to get them to this point is very in depth. 



We switched to these yellow grooved rollers two years ago.  Each of the four sections articulate independently to create less stress on the turf as they roll at different speeds.
