Winter Tree Trimming

With the lack of snow after Christmas and into the first half of January, Dan and Scott worked outside to keep trimming trees.  Each year our goal is to get six holes of tree trimming done in the late fall and early spring.  The pictures below from the left of three really showed they needed a lot of pruning. Plenty of shots are played from there and the bare ground is tough to play out of. We will use our shade seed mix and try and grow some grass there. 


We trimmed the trees between 8, 11 and 17 three years ago and wow they really filled in.  The more you trim, the healthier they become I believe.

Pictured on the ground is our extendable pole pruner.  If the limbs are higher than we can reach then we put them on the list for our pros to take care of. They are normally on site 2-3 times a season.

All 18 Opening Tomorrow - No Carts Yet

It was great to get the dry nine open today and we will have all 18 holes open for play tomorrow.  It's still too wet for carts but let...
